What’s new in Prompt Studio

Product notes for people who use Prompt Studio — the improvements that make saving, organizing, and finding your AI work easier.

    Latest

Share prompts and folders with people you choose

Invite by username or email to view or edit. They work on the original, not a copy. A folder share includes everything inside.

    • Invite people, not just a link

Share with a username or email. Recipients find those items in Shared with me.

    • Viewer or editor

Give view-only access, or let someone edit the live prompt or folder. Viewers cannot delete.

    • Folders share the whole tree

A folder share includes nested folders and prompts — including ones you add later.

    • Public links still work

Anyone-with-the-link sharing stays available for clients who should not need an account.

Folders, nested organization, and smoother collections

Projects are now Folders — with nesting — and collections are easier to navigate while you build multi-step workflows.

    • Folders replace Projects

Organize prompts in folders, including nested folders, so client work and personal libraries stay structured as they grow.

    • Clearer folder assignment

Assign prompts to folders with a faster, Linear-style picker — create a folder and place a prompt in one flow.

    • Better collection editing

Collections use a cleaner thread-style navigation. Adding a prompt focuses it immediately, and strip cards now expose quick actions.

    • More reliable file attachments

Choosing reference and output files works consistently, including when panels sit inside scrollable layouts.

  3. August 3, 2026

Text outputs, clearer Pro confirmation, and smoother sign-in

Save text and markdown responses beside media outputs, and get clearer feedback when you upgrade or sign in.

    • Text and markdown as outputs

Attach written responses — not only images, video, and audio — so chat-style results stay linked to the prompt that produced them.

    • Clearer Pro upgrade confirmation

After subscribing, you get an explicit confirmation that Pro is active so you’re not left guessing.

    • Improved sign-in experience

Auth flows are cleaner, with branded email templates for account messages that match Prompt Studio.

A more reliable editor and smarter saving

Autosave that actually keeps your work, a calmer editor experience, and fixes for collections and multi-select actions.

    • Reliable autosave

New prompts save as you type. Leaving the page, switching tabs, or pausing briefly no longer risks losing draft text.

    • Untitled prompts stay clear

Empty titles show as untitled until you name them — or until a sensible title is suggested from your content.

    • Convert to collection keeps your prompt

Turning a prompt into a collection keeps the original as the first item, instead of replacing it with a blank step.

    • Multi-select Delete works as expected

Selecting several prompts and choosing Delete from the context menu opens the delete confirmation — not Move to folder.

Seamless markdown, document files, and refreshed tool icons

Write with a live markdown editor, attach real documents, and recognize AI tools by their official marks.

    • Seamless markdown editing

Edit prompts in a WYSIWYG markdown experience with familiar shortcuts — closer to a notes app than a raw text box.

    • Documents as attachments

Upload PDFs, Word, Excel, CSV, and other files as references or outputs alongside images, video, and audio.

    • Official AI tool icons

Built-in tools use clearer brand marks so you can spot Midjourney, ChatGPT, Claude, and others at a glance.

  6. July 2026

Faster library and a stronger foundation

Quicker browsing in your library, better media previews, and a more solid platform under the hood.

    • Faster prompt library

List and grid views load more quickly with smarter image previews and caching.

    • Grid and list views

Switch how you browse — glanceable cards or a denser list — depending on how you work.

    • More reliable sharing

Public shared prompts load media more reliably when you send a link to a collaborator or client.
